As the country celebrates another independence day, it is time for us to look back in another preceding years back at the preceding years. We need to evaluate how our country has progressed in these last few years that have witnessed a paradigm shift in power equations and a change in the government. The million-dollar question is: ‘What is our position as compared to our neighbouring countries?’
India’s expertise in the service sector is not yet matched by any of its neighbours. Banking, insurance, transport, finance, information technology and healthcare have improved over the decades. At the moment, more than half of the country’s GDP is contributed by the service sector. Statistically speaking, India has an estimated 120,000 qualified chartered accountants and more than 10 per cent of them are employed outside the country. A similar scenario exists for other professionally qualified specialists as well, such as, legal experts, architects, and design engineers. The knowledge and skills of Indian IT professionals is in demand all over the world.
According to the experts, India has been able to stabilize economy growth at a level of 6% plus. Art, our film industry is one of the largest in the world and the works of Indian director is appreciated by one and all .We have amidst the famous musician like the table maestro Zakir Hussian, vocalist Pundit Bhimsen Joshi etc .such talented individuals brought laurels to our country and have made us proud. The achievements of India in these years have been phenomenal .To cite all of them here would be impossible. The one question here arise is “does any country
The India has lot more to achieve .I will not deny that as there is no achievement there has to be first step .India has crossed that first step .we need to improve on certain areas such as education, sanitation reduction in poverty and corruption. Our standard of living has also improved.
Time has come to make another ‘tryst and destiny’ to rise and salute the land that has given us life and freedom . India need us today. It needs the courage and determination of every Indian on this earth to help it in achieving the place in the world, which every Indian has dreamt of.
